Billy Oatman went from 55^th to 5^th place to make the television finals on ESPN.  The show will take place in Spartanburg, South Carolina at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium at 1:00pm ET.

After starting the first round of 7 with a 202 & 173 he finished the first round in 33 place.  “I had to put up a lot more score to catch these guys” says Billy O.  He started the second round with 240 & 247 then dropped a 186 bomb.  At the end of the second round Billy O was in 22 place. 

In the round robin round of 32 Billy O finished in 14^th place but he was still over 170 pins out of 5^th place.  “I’m in a 240 rut, I have put up more score.  I have to keep my head in the game and make good shots and enjoy the ride” says Oatman.

Billy began the last round robin round with 248, 259 & 259 and lost 2 of those matches.  You receive 30 points for each win so this was not good.  When the smoke cleared…Billy Oatman was in 5^th place.  Billy averaged 230.59 for 32 games.   “I was very impressed with my bowling and I bowled like I wanted it” says Oatman.
